ETEŎCLES, is, des Andreus und der Evippe, einer Tochter des Leukons, Sohn, welcher von einigen auch für einen Sohn des Flusses Cephisus angegeben wird. Er war König in Böotien, und, wie er von seinem Vater Andreus einen Strich Landes benannte, also hieß er dessen einen Theil von dem Cephisus Cephisias und den andern von sich Eteoklea, wobey er zugleich der erste war, der die Gratien göttlich verehrete. Pausan. Bœot. c. 34. 35. p. 595.
