Intradermal (auch intrakutan) bedeutet „in die Haut“ oder „in die Haut verabreicht“. Bei der Verabreichung eines Medikaments wird die Haut nicht durchstochen, sondern dieses in die Haut selbst eingebracht. Die intradermale Gabe von Medikamenten sollte dabei nicht mit einer epikutanen (auf die Haut) oder subkutanen (unter die Haut) Gabe verwechselt werden.
Angewandt wird eine diese Technik beispielsweise bei Allergietests, Tuberkulintests oder bestimmten Impfungen.
