COMAETHO, us, Gr. Κωμαιθὼ, οῦς, ( Tab. XXI.) des Pterelaus Tochter, Apollod. lib. II. c. 4. §. 5. verliebete sich in den Amphitryo, ihres Vaters Feind, und schnitt daher diesem die goldenen Haare ab, ohne welche er sonst nicht sterben konnte. Nach seinem bald darauf erfolgeten Tode bemächtigte sich Amphitryo aller dessen Länder, und ließ die verrätherische Komätho, ihrer Bosheit halber, wieder hinrichten. Id. ibid. §. 7.
